I fucking love Third Strike. Its probably my favorite fighting game, and its one I fell in love with hard. When I said I went to EVO 2022 for Street Fighter, I meant 3rd Strike, not Street Fighter V. The gameplay is supberb, the characters are interesting and diverse, the animation is fucking incredible for a game in 1999, and the Music, holy shit.
To get into the story of Third Strike's music, you have to know a little about Hideki Okugawa. He was Street Fighter III's composer, composing all versions of Street Fighter III. Under the alias Hideki OK, he produced mainly Drum N Bass, Techno inspired tracks for Street Fighter III New Generation and 2nd Impact. These tracks, although not as famous, as still genuinely fucking amazing pieces of video game music.
